Why an M-car specifically needs PPF.

BMW M residual values are protected by spec — Individual paint, Carbon Pack, M Performance accessories. A chipped Frozen Marina Bay M3 at three years old is worth materially less than an immaculate equivalent. M cars get driven hard — track days, B-road weekends, daily commute. Front splitter and lower bumper damage on M3/M4 is common. PPF is the cheapest insurance you can buy against the residual hit.

For most BMW M owners: Full Front.

Standard pick on M2, M3 and M4 is Full Front: bumper, bonnet, fenders, mirror caps, headlights. For M5, M8 and X-series M cars we add rocker coverage. CSL / 50 Jahre / Individual specs frequently choose Full Coverage given the paint cost.
